NO-SALT-DIETS: The first advice most
slimming-diets offer is to reduce salt consumption. Why? Salt is necessary and excess salt
is easily removed from the body by driniking lots of fluids. It is true that if you stop
eating salt you quickly and very dramaticall lose weight - but you do not lose fat! The
only reason why no-salt diets make you lose weight is because they dangerously and
irresponsibly dehydrate your body. Too little salt is even more dangerous than too much
salt.
SALTY-DIET: on the other hand Salty-Diet
does not rely on such cheap weight-loss gimmicks as weight-loss due to dehydration. Salty
Diet gives you plenty of salt, but also plenty of liquids in order to keep your internal
salt-level at an acceptable and healthy level. The weight you lose with Salty-Diet is not
due to dehydration but it is due to loss of fat. Dieting with adequate salt in your diet
is easier to endure and longer lasting than the usual no-salt diets. Salty diet makes you
feel less hungry and lose more fat than the usual diets. Do not lose just weight (due to
dehydration) lose FAT!
YOYO-DIETS: are all those diets which achieve
only temporary weightloss, usually due to temporary dehydration. Most yoyo-dieters after a
few weeks or a few months are back to their original size.
BABY FAT: So called "baby fat" is not as
innocent as many people think. Fat cells are created only in childhood, adults do not get
any new fat cells. The adult fat cells are either fuller or emptier, but there aren't more
of them. You are stuck with the fat cells you get in childhood, the only way you can get
rid of them is by liposuction. Do not overfeed your baby: or he/she will have problems for
the rest of his life.
LIPOSUCTION: is the surgical removal of fat
cells. It has been shown that fat cells release "hunger hormones". So the more
fat cells you have the hungrier you feel and the more difficult it is to lose weight. It
has been reported that people who have undergone liposuction had, subsequently, reduced
feelings of hunger - due to the removal of excess fat-cells. If you can afford a safe
liposuction, you should consider it. But before you do try the Salty-Diet. The greatest
danger from liposuction, as from other surgical procedures, is from anesthesia.
MEDICAL RESEARCH AND SALT: For about 50 years we have been told that we should reduce our salt-intake, that
salt is simply dangerous and harmful. This was based on some incomplete pseudo-scientific
research. Latest data, latest research seems to indicate the exact opposite. According to
the latest research on thousands of subjects in Belgium, those subjects with greater
salt intake have been actually healthier.
Unless you have a specific reason why you should reduce your salt intake, salt does not
harm. Why? Because salt is very soluble in water and whatever salt the body does not need
is quickly eliminated through urine. Let your body decide how much salt you need and not
someone else. Your body is the best advisor and salt-level regulator. If you are not sure
ask your doctor and also ask him why? What does he base his reccommendations upon. Upon
the reaseach done several decades ago or upon the latest research.
You need salt to keep your body adequately hydrated, to have adequate level of water in
your body. Dehydrated body cannot metabolize and wash out excess fat from your body as
well as a hydrated and healthy body can. Don't let them fool you with low-sodium, low-salt
diets which only dehydrate your body but don't help you get rid of fat. Salty-Diet is your
only healthy and balanced solution to overweight.
To sum it up: take all research "proving" that salt is harmful with a grain of
salt. We need salt, the question is how much. Only additional and extensive research will
find the truth. If you don't consume higly processed foods with high levels of hidden
salt, then the amounts of salt (and liquids) suggested on these pages are unlikely to be
harmful.
BASIC RECIPES:
Follow several recipes, which could serve as examples how to plan your daily menu. Each
recipe is your food for the entire day, do not eat anything else. Mix up your food in a
salad bowl in the morning and divide it up into several portions. For example 1/2 in the
morning and 1/2 in the early afternoon. Nothing for supper. During the day you should
drink up to 4 liters (1 gallon) of liquids such as water, unsweetened tea, etc. With these
diet-recipes you should lose about 10 kg (22lbs) in two weeks. Thanks to the salt you will
not feel as hungry as with salt-free diets.
BASIC RECIPE NR.1: Make salad using these ingredients:
1/2 head of iceberg lettuce
1 cup of cooked red kidney beans
1/2 cup of green olives
1 can of tuna
5 - 8 raw mushrooms
1 teaspoon of salt (preferably sea salt)
Optional: garlic/onion powder ....
BASIC RECIPE NR.2: Make salad using these ingredients:
1/2 head of iceberg lettuce
1 cup of green peas
3 green peppers
100g (4oz) lean chicken meat
1 can of tuna
5 - 8 raw mushrooms
1 teaspoon of salt (preferably sea salt)
Optional: garlic/onion (fresh or powder) ....
BASIC RECIPE NR.3: Make salad using these ingredients:
1/2 head of iceberg lettuce
150-200g (6-8oz) feta or bryndza cheese
1/2 cup - sunflower seeds
1/2 cup - green olives
3 green peppers
5 - 8 raw mushrooms
1 teaspoon of salt (preferably sea salt)
DIABETES: Research study published in May 2011 indicates that low-calorie diet has
significant and very positive effect on diabetes. According to this study, low calorie
diet (as the one published here) can reverse or even cure diabetes type 2. How is that
possible? By overweight people fat clogs liver and pancreas thus hindering the normal
insulin-production - i.e. causes diabetes. Low-calorie (salty) diet can unclog and clean
liver and pancreas from excess fat and renew natural insulin production. Our low-fat salty
diet can lead to a diabetes reduction or even to its complete remission. No pills, no
expense. Other research indicates that low sodium levels in blood reduce sensitivity to
insulin.
WHICH FATS ARE THE MOST DANGEROUS?
MARGARINE: Many margarines are made from hydrogenated fats (trans-fats). Such margarines
have been observed to:
- increase heart disease in women by up to 53% over eating the same amount of butter
(Harvard Medical Study),
- increase the total cholesterol and LDL (the bad cholesterol) and to lower HDL
cholesterol, (the good cholesterol),
- increase the risk of cancers up to five times,
- triple the risk of coronary heart disease,
- decrease the immune response,
- decrease the insulin response
So even if margarines claim to contain "no cholesterol" as long as they are made
of hydrogenated trans-fats they are more dangerous than butter. But why eat margarine or
butter at all? You could replace both in your diet with healthier fats - such as olive or
rapeseed oil.
